You may soon see NHS Lottery at a racing circuit near you. We are creating publicity and heightening the visibility of NHS Lottery products and services by placing sponsorship on an MG ZS180, a 2.5 litre V6 engine saloon car that will compete at trackday events. Two similar cars were used in the British Touring Car Championship series, dressed in black and green XPower colours (Below photograph).
The MG ZS had been raced in the British Touring Car Championship since 2001. The West Surrey Racing (WSR) team enjoyed 'works' status for several years and initially ran cars with a two-litre version of the Rover KV6 engine, later switching to four-cylinder K-series engines. Ex-WSR V6 cars have appeared in other hands, and a 'junior team' was run in 2002. Replacing the ZS series, two MG6 GT cars are running in the all-new MG KX Momentum Racing team piloted by double BTCC champion Jason Plato and BTCC rising star Andy Neate.
The MG KX Momentum Racing car is designed and engineered at MG Motor UK’s plant in Birmingham where final assembly also took place.

The cars have been prepared by Triple Eight Race Engineering, one of the most successful constructors in touring car racing. Completing the team are principal sponsors Tesco Fuels with their Momentum 99 brand and KX energy drink completing an all-British line-up.
